Enquire about this pieceThe trident is the emblem of Shiva, and a standing figure holding one is among the images of Kushan seals and sculpture. Here the figure is richly dressed and jewelled, with a patterned skirt, and a small altar stands at the lower right.
The relief is lower and finer than on the other figure plaques, and the sheet is thinner; it is best mounted flat. 7.2 grams at 72.6 per cent gold by XRF.
