Terms of Sale

1. Parties

These terms apply to every sale by Cambria Gallery, a company registered in the State of California, of any piece, whether agreed by email, by telephone or through this website.

2. Offers and prices

Prices are shown on each piece in US dollars and include packing; shipping and any applicable sales tax are quoted separately. Because our pieces are gold, we review prices when the price of gold moves, and we may change a price at any time before a sale is confirmed. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance; a sale is made only when we confirm it in writing, and the price on our invoice is the one that applies.

3. Payment

We accept bank transfer in US dollars and, for smaller sums, major credit cards. Payment is due in full before despatch. Title in a piece passes to the buyer on receipt of cleared funds; risk passes on delivery.

4. Reservations

We will hold a piece for seven days at no charge while a decision is made. Longer reservations are by agreement and may require a deposit.

5. Description and guarantee

6. Delivery and returns

Set out under Shipping & Returns, which likewise forms part of these terms.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our liability in respect of any piece is limited to the price paid for it.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, and the courts of California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
