Shipping & Returns

Packing and carriage

Every piece travels in a padded box inside a plain outer carton, with nothing on the outside to say what it contains. Packing is included in the price. Carriage and insurance are quoted separately and at cost, once we know where a piece is going.

Times and destinations

• Within California — three to five working days.
• Elsewhere in the United States — five to ten working days.
• Europe, the United Kingdom and Canada — ten to twenty working days including customs clearance.
• Rest of the world — quoted per shipment.

Everything is insured for the full purchase price, door to door, and requires a signature. We will not leave a parcel on a doorstep.

Duties and taxes

California sales tax is added where applicable. On shipments outside the United States, import duties, VAT and clearance charges are the buyer's responsibility and are levied by the destination country, not by us; gold jewellery attracts duty in many countries. We declare the true value and contents on every shipment; we are asked from time to time to do otherwise and we decline.

Returns

Any piece bought without having been seen in person may be returned for a full refund of the purchase price, for any reason or none, provided that:

• you tell us in writing within fourteen days of delivery;
• the piece is returned in its original packing, unworn, unaltered and not resized; and
• it is shipped by a carrier and on an insurance basis we have agreed in advance.

Return carriage is at your cost unless the piece was not as described, in which case it is at ours. Refunds are made within ten working days of the piece arriving back with us and being checked.
