The gallery’s current offering is a group of twenty-two contemporary pieces in gold, made in the ancient styles of the Silk Road: repoussé plaques in the Buddhist manner of Gandhāra and the Kushan lands, openwork animals in the style of the steppe, pendants and necklaces, rings set with engraved and cabochon stones, and a small number of larger objects.

These are new pieces, and we describe them as exactly that. Nothing in the present collection is an antique, and we make no claim about the age of anything we sell. Prices run from $340 to $7,400 and are printed on every piece, together with its gold content and weight. What each piece is, and what it is not, is set out in full under About Our Pieces.

Ceramics, bronzes, sculpture and furniture are handled by enquiry and are not currently listed on this site. Write to us if you are looking for something in those fields.

Gold is the one thing about these pieces that can be measured, so we measure it. Every piece has been tested by X-ray fluorescence, and the reading is on its page to a tenth of a per cent, next to its weight in grams. Most of the collection reads between 72 and 78 per cent gold, around 18 karat; one ring reads just over 21.

We would rather you judged a piece on what it is — its gold, its workmanship, how it looks in the hand — than on a story about where it came from. Sellers of similar material often supply the story. We do not, and in the United States a false one is fraud rather than marketing.

Prices are printed on every piece and include packing. The larger pieces are priced by weight against the gold price, and we review those prices when gold moves; the price on your invoice is the one that applies. Write to us and we will send an invoice payable by card or bank transfer. We do not run a checkout, because a short conversation about size and shipping saves more trouble than it costs.

We ship worldwide, insured, door to door. Anything bought without being seen in person may be sent back within fourteen days for a full refund.
